Sister Sandy hit the road running with her 365 project. I’m having to post yesterday’s picture along with today’s. Trying to find things to shoot other than The Bearded One and the critters. –Rhondi

Opening up my eyes

It’s amazing how I can go through life and not see everything that is there for me. This week I got a new camera and have decided to participate in a 365 photo challenge. All I need to do is take a picture a day. I found a web site that gives me ideas of things to take pictures of. Simple, right? Yep, except this week’s subject was “scarlet” and after many storms which brought lots of rain to our area, I found myself looking outside at a very gray landscape. I know, lots of colorful Christmas stuff inside, but I had my mind set on taking the camera outside.  When I went outside and started looking around, I was amazed at all the bright scarlet things that were out there. A woodpecker even graced me with his antics! It makes me wonder how much I’ve missed in my life by not  really looking.  It makes me excited to start looking more everyday. – Sandy
